Hackjob

I forget if I blogged about Sony getting hacked or not. I meant to. In short it was a why blame Sony for the personal information theft when it was stolen by a hacker? I think a line in there was, "If a robber breaks into an apartment, no one lynches the Landlord".

Hackers bug me. OK, not all of them, just the few piss-ants that can't get a real hobby. Most hackers are smart, read 2600 magazine, and would stop right at the break-in point. Real hackers wouldn't steal anything since to them the real challenge is the breaking in. That's their motive and once they're in, they'll move on to the next challenge.

That same excuse doesn't apply to thieves. It's the same type of person that never mentally passed Grade School, probably bullied or buggered by an uncle and uses that as motivation to be an attention-seeking asshole. So if they get into computers, hack into a company's website and steal customer's information, they think they showed somebody. The funny part is that they can't admit to the hacking and stealing because a) he/she will go to jail or b) nobody will believe them. B's a lot funnier. It's impossible for this type of person to not tell someone else so they'll get caught; maybe not this year or the next but they will. That's just the way things work out.

Anyways, Sony's not the problem. For all you people that joined the class-action suit against Sony, if you win the case, enjoy your $5. If you don't win, then you'll look even dumber than before, but that's what you get for jumping on a misguided bandwagon.

Kids, don't be a rotten bastard. If something's not yours, then don't take it. If you walk by a car and see the door unlocked, keep walking. If you see a wallet on the ground, throw it in a mailbox. If it's not your business, don't stick your nose in it. If you can't wrap your head around what's right and wrong, then maybe you shouldn't be here (ei, on the planet). Integrity is such a lost word, I had to run Spell Check on it.

In short: Nobody likes a rotten bastard, so don't be one. It's more fun watching them when they finally get theirs.
