One Way To Fight a Cold

When I got sick a couple of months ago (it was only a bad cold), I had a few days off.  For some reason, when I get a cold which isn't too often, I put on the Kissology DVDs.  I don't mind KISS.  When I was a kid, they could do no wrong, and on the DVDs I like the commentaries.

What I always forget about until I see it is how bad Ace Frehley really is.  And he hasn't got any better.  I would have to say, in my humble opinion, that Ace Frehley is probably the worst recorded guitarist ever.  The only thing redeeming about him is his guitar sound on some tracks.

Oh, then there's that God-awful guitar solo he does.  The guy's been around for almost 40 years - you'd think he'd learn how to hold a pick properly.  But no, it's fumble, fumble, fumble, firework; fumble, fumble, fumble, firework.  Rinse and repeat. 

He's so terrible, it can actually make me angry.

Subliminally maybe I think watching/listening to him will make me puke and therefore pass the cold quicker.  don't know.

I happy to say that I don't have that cold anymore...just the horrible memories.
