Rewarded

So I got an e-mail today from Best Buy saying "you’ve earned a new Reward Zone certificate" for 5 dollars. Five dollars. Fifty dimes. 100 nickles. 500 cents. How did I get such a great discount? Why, I'm part of their Reward Zone program.  Spend money, earn points and get $5.

You might be thinking, "for a company this big, how can they afford to give away money like that?"  It can't be easy but that's Best Buy for you.  Here's how it works:

First you earn points: "As a member of the Reward Zone™ program, earn 1 point ("Point") for nearly every $1 you spend on almost any purchase."  Then "For every 400 points you earn in the Reward Zone™ program, you will be eligible to receive Reward Certificates ("Certificate[s]") redeemable for a $5 discount off your future purchase of any eligible products or services at Best Buy retail store locations."

I spent $500 and I got $5 back.  They even congratulated me. Thanks, Best Buy.
